Howdy guys and welcome back to The Food Feed! It's been a hot minute since I’ve done a restaurant review, so let’s dive back in! This week I ordered pizza from Cabana’s Pizza.

Although I’ve driven by it several times on my way to school, I’ve never thought to stop by. This is probably because the building is smaller than most gas stations, and lacks any sort of dining area, meaning takeout is the only way to go.
This week I decided to go with the “stuffed cheese pizza”, thinking it would be more like the stuffed crust pizza from Pizza Hut – my all-time favorite cheap pizza. WRONG. No, this was a full-fledged deep-dish pizza, with “double dough” and cheese filling the two layers. I would have been none the wiser until I picked up the box. I nearly dropped it, that’s how heavy it was!

Although it’s not what I expected, it certainly did not disappoint. This pizza was dense, but still full of flavor. The red sauce was multi-dimensional, perfectly complimenting the crust. The garlic, and freshness of the tomatoes in the sauce was unmatched. Although the crust overall was a bit bland it didn’t take much away from the pie and I found myself still loving it!
Overall this was a great Friday night dinner and it left me with plenty of leftovers. At the same price of a stuffed crust pizza from Pizza Hut, this pie from Cabana’s left me stuffed and with a fridge full of leftovers for tomorrow.
